About Mrs. Otte
Dear fifth grade students and parents/guardians:
My name is Mrs. Otte and I am so excited to be teaching fifth grade at Holy Trinity this year! It is going to be an AWESOME year full of learning and new adventures. I can't wait to see what this school year has in store for us! Here are a few things about me, some things you may already know, some things you may not!
I grew up in North Platte, Nebraska and went to a Catholic school from Kindergarten-12th grade. I am the oldest of three children. My younger brother just graduated from college and lives in Milwaukee. I also have a younger sister that lives in Boston. My parents still live in Nebraska but spend most of their free time visiting us around the country.
After graduating from high school I went to the University of Nebraska and earned my degree in Marketing. I decided shortly before graduation that I wanted to be a teacher, so I decided to get my Master's in Elementary Education! This will be my 8th year teaching! My favorite subjects to teach are reading and writing. I enjoy using technology as much as I can in the classroom.
I can't wait to get to know each and every student a little bit better. We are going to have such a fantastic year!

Favorite things to do: I love to travel, I love to do arts and crafts, and I love to be active (bike, run, walk, swim, wakeboard, snow ski, and play volleyball or basketball)
Favorite Drink: Starbucks lattes and Diet Coke! These drinks keep me going during the day!
Favorite Subject in school: WRITING!
